Avocado Toast

This is probably the best snack or appetizer in the universe. Yeah, I said it. Creamy avocado, crunchy toast, ripe tomatoes, tart lemon juice, and a balsamic glaze. It looks super fancy, but it's so easy to make!

Serves 4-6

Avocado Toast
  • 1 fresh baguette
  • 6 avocados
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar

  • Assemble

    This is as easy as it gets. Slice a baguette into 1/4" - 1/2" slices. Broil in your oven for 2-5 minutes (keep an eye on them so they don't burn!)

    After toasted, layer with mashed avocado, diced tomato, and a squeeze of lemon juice over everything. 

    To make the balsamic glaze, add a 1/2 cup of balsamic vinegar to a saucepan and cook over medium high heat until it starts to bubble - the vinegar will have thickened to make a delicious glaze. Drizzle of the top and enjoy!

    Try not to eat them all in under 2 minutes!
